Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developer with design, development, and maintenance of conversational AI solutions on Kore.AI platform or similar
  • Implementation of conversational AI solution with telephony system, and API integration with other external systems.
  • Implement natural language processing (NLP) and natural language understanding (NLU) capabilities to enable intelligent and context-aware conversations.
  • Develop virtual assistants using the Kore.AI platform, utilizing programming languages, scripting, and Kore.AI APIs and tools.
  • Produce high quality detail design documents, coding, code review and unit testing.
  • Provide insight into software development best practices and lifecycle.
  • Participate in projects as a member of an Agile/Scrum team including project estimation, task creation and driving to complete tasks in each sprint in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience working with conversational AI platforms, specifically Kore.AI, and familiarity with its APIs and tools but open to similar platforms such as Nuance or Amelia.
  • Strong understand conversional AI and APIs integration with other systems.
  • Proven experience as a software developer, with expertise in designing and developing conversational AI solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Text to speech (TTS) / Speech to Text (STT) service integration experience is plus.
  • Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and natural language understanding (NLU) concepts and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with developing/managing Conversational AI Platform, integrations with NICE contact center.
