The Opportunity

“FICO is seeking DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing Product Security Team. This is a full-time regular position, and a great opportunity for an individual with strong Scripting/Programming skills or great interest in security that would like to move into the exciting field of Product security." – The Hiring Manager

What You’ll Contribute

Work on Automation scripts using any scripting languages like Python, Java or JavaScript involving various Security tools API’s.
Hands-on experience with with setup and manage Jenkins pipelines and Plugins.
Hands-on experience working with SCM tools like Git.
Collaborate with Product Development teams within Fico to enhance and empower Automation with Security tools in SDLC phases.
Manage Security policies and configurations for SAST, SCA, IaC and Secret Scanners.
Work with Product team members to build/maintain security features and ensure that they make safe architectural and implementation choices.
Provide Expert Technical Guidance and hands on validation of Secure development solutions.
Using DevOps tools and Automation to accelerate Secure software development.

What We’re Seeking

Experience with scripting and Automation languages such as Python & JavaScript.
Experience with working with CICD tools such as Jenkins.
Sound Knowledge or Hands-on with Automation using Security tools API’s to avoid manual and repetitive tasks.
Knowledge of Containerization Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and their security.
Familiarity with Agile Methodology and related technologies such as JIRA and Confluence.
Ability to scale security within the SDLC by automation using tools sets such as source code analyzers, vulnerability scanners, configuration validation, and similar techniques.
Knowledge or Experience with SAST/SCA/Container Security is a plus.
Ability to Perform Source code reviews on at least any one language these Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey security & automation needs to developers, peers, and leadership.
