Responsibilities
Serve as a POC for cross-functional teams during rapid response moments
Develop systems and processes for real-time, cross-channel data gathering & assessment, and use it to make actionable recommendations during rapid response moments
Work with large, complex social and digital data sets; solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
Understand & contextualize multiple data points and perspectives from across the organization to inform decision
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Able to work flexible hours to provide coverage out of traditional hours - may need to work outside of 9-5 and do overtime depending on crisis response.
3-5 years of relevant experience working in crisis focused analysis for global organizations.
Expert-level technical knowledge of social media platforms; digital data tools.
Desired
Experience building rapid response data systems and processes for a global brand.
Exercises mature judgment in complex, fast-paced situations, with ability to concisely communicate complex information.
Significant experience connecting multiple data sources and building dashboards in data visualization tools
Knowledge of systems like Bigquery, SQL, and building API connectors Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.
Lead non-hierarchical, cross-functional working teams who don’t report into this role Proactive and independent: candidate works well with minimal guidance and is excited to "take the first pass" at analysis plans or reports, without prescriptive direction Well-versed in story-based reporting (on paper and in person): candidate doesn't just cough out facts and figures, but rather thoughtfully and holistically creates reports that address large strategic business questions with a data-based narrative
