Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in in a quantitative field such as Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience data analysis and database management
Minimum 7+ minimum years of experience with reporting packages, databases, ETL frameworks and demonstrated aptitude with technical systems and dealing with disparate data sources
Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Office applications including Excel (including pivot tables and macros) and PowerPoint
Exhibits knowledge and/or technical experience regarding data models for database design development
Exhibits functional knowledge of statistical concepts (simple linear regressions, what-if scenarios, statistical inference, probability theory)
Exhibits knowledge of SQL, SAS or any other database management system Proficient written and verbal communication in English
Responsibilities:
DIMENSIONAL MODELING: craft and implement robust dimensional modeles for diverse datasets, including structured and semistructured data. SQL PROFICIENCY: leverage advanced SQL skills to query and manipulate data efficiently in AWS Athena and other relevant platforms. PYSPARK
PROFICIENCY: develop and optimize data processing workflows. PROBLEM SOLVING: engage in investigative data analysis to identify and resolve data-related challenges, including stakeholder requests and data integrity/accuracy.
COLLABORATION: work closely with our team, partner teams, and stakeholder groups to understand business requirements to provide valuable insights.
OPTIMIZATION: continuously assess and enhance existing processes, employing innovative approaches to optimize data pipelines and improve overall system efficiency.
DOCUMENTATION: thoroughly document data models, queries, and processes, ensuring clear communication and knowledge transfer within the team.
QUALITY ASSURANCE: conduct rigorous testing of data solutions to uphold data standards and ensure the reliability of analytical outputs.
