Data Analyst

Job Description

Perform statistical analysis, data profiling, and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Create data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to present findings.
Data Modeling:

Design and implement data models to support business requirements.
Develop predictive and descriptive models for forecasting and decision support.
Data Quality and Governance:

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
Collaborate with data governance teams to establish data standards and best practices.
Collaboration:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data infrastructure meets business requirements.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
Identify opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Finance.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Pyspark, R).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of banking and financial services is a plus.
