Data Analyst with Healthcare

Responsibilies

Strong coding skills for data analysis. Python preferred; R is also acceptable. FHIR API knowledge preferred. Some SQL helpful

Experience working with large data sets (millions of rows), includes EMR, claims and other.

Strong knowledge of informatics principles and techniques, with a focus on healthcare/clinical/public health applications including public health and population health surveillance uses of data.

Understanding of database principles. Experience with NoSQL databases would be helpful.

Experience working with healthcare quality metrics and/or value based payment metrics

Experience operationalizing specifications against live data.

Experience working in healthcare setting or with health care work flow and data use

Familiarity with health information exchange concepts and related federal standards and regulations (TEFCA)

Data visualization concepts and tools (e.g. javascript) preferred

Knowledge of clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, Snomed, LOINC, medication coding systems)
