Description
- Relevant Experience 4-5 years as a Database Architect with a strong focus on AWS database services.
- Knowledge of AWS database services, including but not limited to Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon DynamoDB.
- Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL.
- Understanding of database security and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven track record of successfully migrating databases from on-premises environments to AWS cloud.
- Experience with data transformation and ETL processes during database migration.
- Proficiency in using AWS Database Migration Service and related tools for seamless database migration.
- Ability to assess existing on-premises databases, identify migration challenges, and develop migration strategies.
- Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and rollback procedures during migration.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database - Specialty) a plus.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization, is a plus.
