Main focus of the next wave of candidates must be around “databases”. Strong experience with at least 2-3 databases is fine – among Oracle, Snowflake, Hadoop, Aurora, RDS, Redshift, MongoDB etc.
Strong SQL experience.
Strong Python or ANY programming language experience – i.e., we need more than just DBAs. Candidates must be “database developers” – who can code for us.
Only familiarity with DevOps needed; i.e., we are NOT looking for DevOps engineers anymore.
