Roles & Responsibilities  

• The agency is looking for a Data Engineer with 6+ years experience building data analytics pipelines using Azure Data Lake Gen2 (Blob Storage), Azure Data Factory (Pipelines and Data Flows), Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and 2 years experience developing reports and Dashboards using PowerBI. This data engineer will be working on the data modernization project supporting the implementation of the new document and data submission portal along with other related deliverables.
• 6+ years experience building data analytics pipelines using Azure Data Lake Gen2 (Blob Storage), Azure Data Factory (Pipelines and Data Flows), Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and 2 years experience developing reports and Dashboards using PowerBI.
• Web Application and Restful API development using C#.NET, Ability to design, develop, update and maintain .NET application in Azure Cloud environment, conducts testing to verify logic and ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements. Completes complex project work, including troubleshooting and correcting coding errors/issues. Provides status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timeline as required by selected project framework.
• The data engineer will be leading the implementation of the agency's new data and document submission portal in Azure along with other related deliverables, providing technical guidance, and assisting the Senior Director, Cloud Development during the data modernization project implementation.
• Responsible for the implementation of the agency's new data and document submission portal in Azure along with other related deliverables, ensure code developed meets coding standards and meets the identified requirements; Helps in defining coding standards; Assists junior programmers with their tasks and provides necessary coaching and guidance; Responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing software code; Working with graphic designers and other members of a project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website; and Responsible for the interface implementation.
