Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Data Science team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product and GTM teams to identify opportunities where data science and machine learning can drive value and solve business challenges
Problem Solving: Lead efforts to tackle challenging data science and machine learning problems, from predictive modeling to natural language processing, that have a significant impact on the organization's success
Data-Driven Insights: Develop and implement strategies to extract actionable insights from data, enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise
Model Development: Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business problems
Team Development: Attract, hire, and retain top data science talent while fostering their professional growth and development
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders, guiding them in making informed decisions
Qualifications
Master's or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Proven experience in leading data science teams and delivering data-driven solutions in a corporate environment
Strong proficiency in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization
Expertise in programming languages such as Python
SQL expertise for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
