KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

Knowledge of Google Cloud and MS Azure fundamentals
Installation, Upgradation, Administration, and monitoring of SQL Server Instances
Monitoring of DB backups, database health, and fix day to day DB related issues
Database access management
Designing of database backup and recovery strategy and creating maintenance plans
Troubleshoot database performance issues such as Memory bottlenecks, CPU bottlenecks, I/O bottlenecks.
Setup High-Availability and Disaster Recovery using AlwaysOn
Database migration from on-prem to Google Cloud/Azure
Implement Organizational Data Security and Compliance policies
Understanding of IT Service Management tool such as SNOW
Work with Developers to select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
Advocating and building automated processes wherever possible

SQL/TSQL


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
DB Administration Certifications on GCP or MS Azure will be preferred.
