Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
The Digital Analytics Database Administrator will have responsibility to support multiple Aftermarket part Digital Products. This responsibility includes managing servers and data repositories, resolving data conflicts, optimizing cost efficiencies, and maintaining the highest quality. Day to day tasks will vary between attending meetings, investigating customer inquiries, server maintenance, role creation and maintenance to working with team members to investigate and solve technical product issues. Typical customers include internal employees within multiple business products. In addition, this person may have direct relationships with Data Managers, Product Managers and Owners, and, in some cases, Sr Managers.

Typical Job Responsibilities include:
? Provide expert support for production application databases with respect to availability, reliability, and integrity.
? Responsible for AWS and Linux Server Administration.
? Responsible for database/schema creation, role creation/maintenance and security.
? Monitor and manage database cost through usage reviews, query optimization and provide cost reduction recommendations.
? Manage database replication between different snowflake environments.
? Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, configure system automation alerts, and implement corrective actions as needed.
? Escalate and resolve database issues that the team encounters that may prohibit their success.
? Work as part of a team to design and develop code, scripts, and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data integrated from multiple sources.
? Provide technical leadership to Application engineers in database capabilities and features, build efficient queries, database design, and the use of database utilities
? Performs audit support by providing documentation for data use approvals from data sources
? Participate in the development and alignment of the IT roadmaps.
? Ability to work in a fast paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
Interaction with team:
Typical customers include internal employees within multiple business products. In addition, this person may have direct relationships with Data Managers, Product Managers and Owners, and, in some cases, Sr Managers.
Work environment:
Mostly remote, working with a worldwide team. Team meets in either US or Geneva about once a quarter.
Education & Experience Required:
? Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Technology or relevant field.
Technical Skills
(Required)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience as Database Administrator
- Excellent knowledge of SQL, Python, Snowflake, Apache Airflow, Linux, Amazon Web Services and Cloud applications
- Proficient knowledge of AWS Server Administration
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and Github experience
- Understanding of ETL processes and tools

- 5+ years of experience of database administration, performance tuning, and design
Working knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python preferred)
- Create innovative solutions to solve technical problems.
- Knowledge of Aftermarket data.
