The State of Wisconsin is looking for a Database Architect IV.

 

Database Architect IV designs and builds relational databases. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and database implementation. Cleans and maintains the database by removing / archiving / deleting data. Must be able to design, develop and manipulate database management systems, data warehouses and multi-dimensional databases. Requires a depth and breadth of database knowledge that will help with formal design of relational databases and provides insight into strategic data manipulation. This position will provide analysis and design of relational databases and systems analysis for support, modernization, and enhancements. Database Architect will design strategies, implement database SQL and stored procedures, and devise strategies to replace outdated technology and implement them.

Top Skills and 7+ Years of Experience:

· Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures and standalone scripts.
· Experience designing and implementing database SQL and stored procedures.
· Expert in Oracle SQL and SQL Developer
· Strong proactive ability to research, recommend, design, implement, code, and test spatial and tabular data.
· Understand data system rules and proactively validate and cleanse anomalies under user guidance.
· Database conversion and migration.
· Communication skills, verbal and written, are required for user and technical meetings and documentation.
· Provide analysis and design of relational databases and systems analysis for support, modernization, and enhancements.
· Cleans and maintains the database by removing / archiving / deleting.
