Database Developer

Client looking for a full-stack developer with heavy back-end development experience to assist in the creation of a self-service associate portal for all things IT. Looking for someone with relational database experience and creating it from scratch, SQL, experience with stored procedures and building schemas.

Client is in need of a full-stack developer to build out a relational database (from scratch) for their MyTech Associate Portal Effort. This effort will create a new web application that all Nationwide associates will use when they have technology needs ranging from submitting a ticket for a personal technology issue to ordering equipment or simply finding information. The web application will offer the associate multiple channels based on preference from web application features, live chat and live phone support.

Currently, they do not have a DB – they have just been pulling the data they are using from other sources. However, it has gotten to the point where they need to create their own.
So they need a Relational Database developer (could be Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, etc.). In addition to building this database from scratch they need to also be able to create stored procedures and views. They will need to gather requirements, build schemas, normalize data and build this framework for “shopping”.
