Database Track Architect

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet our organization's technical requirements. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Cloud services, strong architectural skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Design and architect Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, database, and security components.
Develop architecture blueprints, technical design documents, and implementation plans.
Provide guidance and expertise to project teams during the implementation and deployment phases.
Evaluate existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and address technical challenges.
Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all Oracle Cloud deployments.
Stay current with Oracle Cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
Participate in proof-of-concepts and technology evaluations to support business initiatives.
Mentor junior team members and provide knowledge transfer sessions as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud services, including OCI Compute, Storage, Networking, Database, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Security.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, performance, and security.
Experience with architecting and deploying complex, multi-tier applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Oracle Resource Manager.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
