DC Engineer Specialist

Job Description:

Implementation, maintenance and support of Client’s network infrastructure that services and secures the distribution of voice, data, video, and converged communications. Part of an on-call rotation.

Technologies Supported:

Cisco, Silver Peak, Cradlepoint, Forescout, Solarwinds NPM and NCM

Mandatory Skills:

Experience with cisco routing and switching on nexus OS, IOS-XE and IOS software.
Experience with cisco aironet access points and wireless controller
Experience with cisco Meraki products.
Experience with cisco software updates using ISSU and direct boot commands.
Ability to understand and work with SD-WAN orchestration and troubleshooting on HPe Aruba/Silver Peak vendor products.
Experience with OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
Excellent documentation and network diagraming skills.
Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative when necessary.
Relied upon as a subject matter expert for network related tasks, projects and issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business users.

Nice To have:

Familiarity with the following technologies: VMware, DHCP, DNS, check point and Palo Alto Network firewalls, Gigamon and Netbrain tools.
DevOps skills on network products and API tools
Familiarity with industry regulations involving but not limited to PII, PCI, CCPA, NCUA
