About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • At least 3 years of experience coming from either:
    • Project Management knowledge and experience, including Agile methodologies, demonstrated as part of/within current/previous role(s) and/or
    • You have exposure to technology and software development environments (you have worked within the Software Development Life Cycle).
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with team(s)/project(s) that have a well-understood approach to planning and forecasting at both ticket and project level.
  • At least 1 years' experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Understanding/exposure to Agile transformation within organization.
  • Exposure working with multi-cultural, global, and remote teams along with ability to adapt to change.
  • Working with development teams on daily basis.
  • Detailed knowledge of software development/delivery lifecycle (SDLC) & agile best practices (like DevOps, BDD, CI/CD, …).
  • You are fluent in understanding, measuring, and improving outcome metrics of the team and are hands-on with Jira and project & board administration.
  • PMP certification would be a plus.

 

What will you be doing in this role

  • Enables team in scrum development and product releases according to roadmaps for delivery
  • Facilitation of scrum ceremonies, including release planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, sprint review and ensuring full team engagement.
  • Facilitate technical coordination between scrum teams by participating in the “scrum of scrums” and proactively coordinating between inter-related work teams.
  • Work with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to maintain backlog health in preparation for execution and guide Product Owners and Scrum teams in Minimum Viable Product (MVP) discussions.
  • Guide teams in delivering effective, quality source code in alignment with defined architecture and also the scrum team on how to use Scrum best practices.
  • Monitor and track defects to ensure quality deliverables and protect the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity
  • Anticipate, addresses and negotiate potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistical challenges)
  • Administer metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team
  • Educate and drive adherence to the scrum principles across agile delivery teams.
  • Enforcement of the core agile and related practices, such as test driven development, unit test coverage, code reviews, continuous integration, simple design, and refactoring.
  • Continuous evaluation of budget/burn-rate, estimation to completion AND reporting throughout project lifecycle.
