Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be working in the following areas:
- Work on Memory architecture development in the latest technologies!
- Transistor-level full-custom design and collaboration with the physical design team for layout realization.
- Develop new design features and do circuit/layout optimizations to meet Performance, Power, and Area targets!
- Perform memory design verification and characterization activities and analyze results.
- Ensure high-performance memory designs with the lowest possible power as needed for Arm CPUs, GPUs, and SOCs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-8 years of proven experience in memory design
- Strong interest and command on BASIC electronics [Diode, RC Circuits and CMOS etc]
- Digital Electronics fundamentals [Flip-Flops, Latches, Decoders, Multiplexers]
- Setup and hold time concepts
- Memory fundamentals, especially for single-port-SRAM [Circuit design knowhow, including Bitcell, WL decoder, Sense Amp, Self-time, Assist, Low power features, DFT features]
- Good understanding of technology trade-offs in deep sub-micron technologies
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and positive outlook
- Organized and exhibits attention to detail
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of advanced process technology nodes and layout implementation of memory products
- Shell Scripting, ML, Automation
- Statistical simulations (e.g. Monte-Carlo)
