Description

This role is essential for someone with a deep understanding of the Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, and more. The ideal candidate will not only possess technical expertise but also the vision to shape our future digital landscape, ensuring that our technology initiatives align with the city's broader objectives.  

 

Qualifications 

 

Required:  

 

Minimum 4 years' experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or Model-Driven PowerApps. 

At least 4 years' experience in developing, deploying, and promoting PowerBI dashboards or similar reporting tools like Tableau. 

4+ years' proficiency in SQL programming. 

 

Preferred: 

 

5 or more years in Azure Analysis Services, SSAS, or advanced PowerBI data modeling. 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related fields. 

Skilled in SQL Azure, Azure Services, and Azure Data Factory. 

Experience in local government operations is beneficial. 

Proven capability to navigate uncertain situations and work across different organizational segments. 

Flexible and quick to adapt to changing business needs. 

Strong focus on detail with a commitment to data accuracy and auditing. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

Develop Model-Driven PowerApps aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs). 

Implement data modeling for the creation of PowerBI dashboards, addressing real-world problems. 

Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Domain Experts for operational insights. 

Remain active in technical communities to stay updated with best practices in the field, sharing knowledge within the organization.
