Ubers People and Organization Development (POD) team is focused on accelerating Ubers business by enhancing employee experience around growth and development across their lifecycle at Uber. The POD team is responsible for building and implementing key People and Organizational Development processes - Performance, Culture & Engagement, Change Management, Talent Management, People Development programs and Onboarding.

In this role, you will be part of the Onboarding pillar, within the People Development (PD) team. The Activate global onboarding program was designed with nUbers, our new hires, in mind. The goal is to provide a simple, cohesive experience as they settle into their new roleand make them feel welcomed, productive, and connected across their first 90 days. This role focuses on facilitating the virtual Global Onboarding program sessions, which begins with New Hire Orientation on day one and carries over into Uberversity before culminating with the Values in Action immersion experience.

What Youll Do

Support Global Program Manager, Onboarding by facilitating Global Onboarding program live events, specifically within the EMEA / APAC time zones

Engage diverse audiences through hybrid-friendly interactions during the session including chat, breakout rooms, etc.

Prepare for sessions to ensure a smooth, engaging experience for new hires

Set up and track sessions in our Learning Management System (Absorb)

Deliver learning & enrollment reports based on team needs

Report on session metrics, areas of improvement, and learnings

Run logistics and manage scheduling for remote global program events

Project manage side projects to help support onboarding growth

Triage any and all issues, escalate them when necessary, and assist with ad-hoc projects and other administrative tasks as assigned

What Youll Need

BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience in L&D for adult professionals

Minimum 3+ years experience in training facilitation

Experience engaging remote or hybrid-friendly audiences via chat, breakout rooms and other remote interaction mechanisms

Experience coordinating and launching learning programs or events

Experience driving projects to completion

Project management and process improvement experience

Experience of working successfully in a highly-matrixed, continually changing, multinational organization

Dynamic, flexible and highly organized with experience managing multiple projects

Experience working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, experience handling continuous change and ambiguity

Requirements

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

High proficiency using computers (typing, quickly navigating between various tools such as email and spreadsheets)

Exceptional spreadsheet skills, including creation of formulas and analytic skills

Passion for helping others and creating experiences that exceed users expectations

Ability to troubleshoot problems and find speedy resolutions, including while facilitating to large groups

Skilled at handling multiple issues at once to efficiently solve a large number of inquiries

Must be flexible to work outside of normal working hours to connect with US-based team and their timezone

Must work well in a team environment, contributing to a synergistic work environment where people learn from one another and continuously improve processes on behalf of users

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in facilitation and project management

ANY GRADUATE
