Administration of Device42 Platform :The Device42 Administrator is responsible for efficiently managing and configuring the Device42 platform. This includes handling various advanced features and configuration settings. Key tasks include changing the appliance hostname, managing backups, handling HTTP certificates, and generating logs.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):Device42 supports RBAC to control access based on different criteria.
Functional vs. Object Permissions :Without RBAC, admin groups have functional permissions (menu visibility).
Have the knowledge of Device42 Role Based access with Active Directory.
Knowledge about networking at Datacenter level is good to have.
Should Have good MS Excel skills.
Should be good in documentation skills.
written & verbal communication skills are must.
