Job Description:
Looking for junior level technical support engineer with hands on experience of, Application and production support to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain focusing on SRE/DevOps roadmap. The individual should be passionate about technology and must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and/or as part of larger team.
Technical Skills:
• 4+ years of experience in Application Production Support in Linux platform.
• Strong Technical Troubleshooting skill
• Good experience in scripting – Shell, Automations
• Well versed with ITIL - Incident Change Release management
• Basic knowledge of Middleware technologies - Apache Tomcat
• Good experience on application monitoring tool like Splunk, AppDynamics , Grafana, Premetheus.
• Good experience in AutoSys or any scheduling mechanism.
• Good experience in DevOps CI CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, uDeploy etc.
• Knowledge of Banking domain (preferable)
• Basic knowledge of Database - Oracle SQL
• Good understanding of Infrastructure Technologies like Linux, Windows, MW, Database
• Good to have knowledge of AutoSys or any scheduling mechanism.
• Good to have DevOps SRE, Automation, cloud knowledge.
Process Skills:
• Good knowledge of ITSM Process
• Preferable good knowledge of SDLC
• First point of support for application incidents
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves functional and technical problems
• Ensure quality services are delivered with respect to the agreed service level agreement
• Clearly understand client business to recommend, provides and support application services
