Job Description:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Review and provide insight into updating the existing DevOps Architecture and provide recommendation, get buy-in and implement the updates
Validate existing DevOps strategy and tool set and provide recommendations to enhance tool set based on industry standards
Collaborate with the project team for reviewing requirements, defining project scope, planning and delivering work timely
Assist with implementation of DevOps initiatives, including:
- Standardizing and enhancing CICD pipelines (include enhancing unit testing/code coverage and static security scanning)
- Implement Docker builds and container deployments to Nomad
- Enhance and Automate DevOps Request processing with Service Desk
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket
- Pipelines Scripting tools such as PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, Ant
- Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira
- Source code management tools such Git, Bitbucket, Subversion
- Experience with container (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Nomad), container registries (Docker Hub)
- Experience with software development using .NET/.NET Core and SQL
Provide timely updates for deliverable status and manage escalations appropriately
Guide DevOps team to help enhance their DevOps skillset
SKILLS / TOOLS
Experience with:
- Implementing builds with Maven
- Scripting with Groovy
- Java
- Web development (e.g., HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node.js)
- Cloud-based DevOps pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Review and provide insight into updating the existing DevOps Architecture and provide recommendations, get buy-in and implement the updates
- Validate existing DevOps strategy and tool set and provide recommendations to enhance tool set based on industry standards
- Automate DevOps Requests, Administer and manage DevSecOps toolset
- Create, enhance, and troubleshoot automated processes for CI/CD and deployment of TEA software
- Recommend system and process improvements; evaluate, recommend assist with implementation of new technologies and/or technology upgrades
- Monitor application health and performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace or SolarWinds
