We have an Immediate requirement on " DevOps Engineer" @ Remote.  

 

Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Type: C2C

 

Job Description: 

 

DevOps Engineer with experienced hands-on development as well as deployment of applications on AWS platform.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining AWS DevOps Pipelines for Infra as a Code and Software Builds/Releases.
  • Designing AWS deployment design and architecture
  • Ensuring compliance to security best practices
  • Ensuring compliance to software builds and release processes.
  • Developing and testing Lambda based modules
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting deployments done using AWS services like EC2, IAM, Security Groups, VPC/Subnets, Load Balancers (ALB, ELB), Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, API Gateway, Param Store, KMS Encryptions, Lambda (Python or NodeJS or Java), SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.
  • Running periodic health checks on AWS environments.

Required Skills:   

  • Excellent Communication and Analytical Skills
  • 5+ years of development of Infra as a Code Pipelines in AWS platform using CFT (Cloud Formation Templates).
  • Must have worked on Bitbucket for source control as well as Builds and Releases.
  • Experienced with Server based architectures of deployments as well as Serverless based architectures of deployments
  • Experienced hands-on development as well as deployment of applications on AWS platform
  • Must be well versed with Security best practices and vulnerability management.
  • Excellent understanding of Dev Ops practices including Unit Test, Code Coverage and Build Pipelines
  • Good Hands-on experience of managing configurations, deployments and implementation using AWS services like EC2, IAM, Security Groups, VPC/Subnets, Load Balancers (ALB, ELB), Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, API Gateway, Param Store, KMS Encryptions, etc.
  • Development experience with AWS services like Lambda (Python or NodeJS or Java), SQS, DynamoDB, RDS.
  • Reasonably good knowledge of SQL and NOSQL
  • Experience in building AWS Architecture Diagrams.
  • Working experience with JIRA and Confluence tools.

Good to have skills:

  • Experience of PowerShell scripting
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps
  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect
  • Certified AWS DevOps Engineer
