Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of robust solutions, like monitoring, metrics infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, etc.
  • Implement best practices for software build, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Drive Automation efforts across the organization utilizing Infrastructure to reduce manual efforts.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps tools configuration on different environments.
  • Strong knowledge of working with DevOps design patterns, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to work with supervision skills and a good team player
  • Must possess the ability to analyze situations and provide problem resolution
  • Strong Knowledge about Infra and deployment automation (IaC, CI & CD)
  • Strong in Unix/Linux operating systems skills.
  • Strong in troubleshooting/debugging Systems and Applications.
  • Working knowledge of Open source technologies in Monitoring, Deployment, and incident management.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud operations
  • Knowledge/Experience with scripting languages – Python, bash shell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure As Code – CloudFormation, Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with Version Control systems – Git.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Systems – Ansible, Chef, puppet, saltstack etc.
  • Experience with maintaining and running large-scale web apps.
  • Experience with Microservices – Kubernetes/EKS and its ecosystem
  • Willing to Learn New Technologies

Job Required Skills:

  • In-depth Unix/Linux Knowledge
  • DNS, TCP/IP, HA & Load Balancing (Elastic Load balancer, Haproxy etc.)
  • Automation Skills with Bash or any other Scripting Languages like Python, Perl, etc.
  • Familiarity with Docker and its ecosystem
  • Proficiency in modern pipeline tools as, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
  • Monitoring tools like Nagios, Munin, Zabbix, Sensu, Cloud Watch, Splunk and New Relic
  • Understanding of AWS cloud Components like VPC, S3, Route 53, Routing etc
  • SQL and NoSQL database administration (Oracle, MySQL, Neo4J)
  • Storage: RAID, DAS, SAN, NAS fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills, a passionate commitment to quality, and a collaborative, team-oriented working style
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment with positive results
  • AWS Cloud Formation with Kubernetes
