Primary Skills:
· Expertise in manufacturing processes and automation including production planning, control, quality management, equipment maintenance and supply chain.
· Experience in implementing IIOT / Digital Manufacturing solutions from a functional standpoint.
· Possess strong understanding of machine connectivity, data collection, business KPI calculation and business value mapping.
· Expertise in creation of detailed functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation in alignment with client stakeholders from Manufacturing shopfloor and supervisors and it’s IT teams. Able to articulate the business requirements seamlessly to development teams and validate the applications to meet the business requirements. Create a traceability matrix to establish and maintain the relationship between business requirements, test cases, and test results.
· Experience conducting detailed analysis of current manufacturing operations, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and suggesting opportunities for improvement. Possess consulting experience in Digital Manufacturing.
· Expertise creating comprehensive process documentation, including process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Develop and execute test cases to ensure the proper functioning and performance of digital manufacturing solutions.
· Exposure to IIOT technologies and protocols, such as MQTT, OPC-UA, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex manufacturing systems and identify improvement opportunities.
· Familiarity with data visualization tools and platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
· Familiarity with manufacturing-related software applications, such as ERP systems or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), is a plus.
· Experience in the manufacturing industry, with exposure to different sectors such as Discrete (preferred), CPG, Oil and Gas, Automotive, Hospitality and Consumer Goods.
