Director of Business Transformation

Job Description

The Director of Business Transformation is responsible for driving major technology-led transformation across the business. This individual is an expert at building bridges between IT, business functions, and core development. In order to be successful, you must be able to instill processes and standardize quality of outcomes to align with business objectives. This person will be highly focused on affecting change across all business functions. The Director of Business Transformation keeps the technology function as close to the business as possible and aligns objectives with outcomes and delivers consistent results.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and drive process excellence leading to consistent outcomes at scale
• Lead through influence able to convene stakeholders from many disciplines and align on a direction
• Expert communicator able to deliver effective communications in any forum
• Executive presence and able to effectively work with C-Suite individuals

Must Haves:

• Ten years of experience in project management, functional leadership roles working with technology transformation
• Must have direct experience working with cross functional teams from business to IT
• Must have direct experience in diverse transformational business projects
• Must have broad experience in IT projects and their impacts on the business environments and goals
• Bachelor’s degree ideally in a technology discipline, MBA preferred
