Reporting To: Executive Director and Executive Director, Program Management and Delivery
Project Description:
The client portfolio has partnered with telehealth service company to support their comprehensive digital transformation portfolio. We require a highly skilled senior program delivery director who has experience with complex digital transformation and understands how to be a trusted partner to a clinical service delivery organization.
The Program Delivery Director will be responsible for the delivery of a unified program in close collaboration with the clients leadership team. The program consists of various, inter-connected foundational systems being developed and procured. The Director will be responsible for supporting a comprehensive delivery team and establishing trusted partnerships with multiple organizations. The Program Delivery Director will also coordinate with PDS Program Delivery and Management to align project management best practices, status reporting processes, and documentation where applicable.
Services Required:
The Program Delivery Director will report to the Executive Director and coordinate all aspects of the delivery program in close partnership with he clients leadership. The Program Delivery Director ensures that the deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as identified in the project plan. The Director identifies and tracks metrics as they relate to the project deliverables, and provides consultation, guidance, and support to the delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supports the teams to develop and deliver on plans and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables. Oversees and provides clear direction to the team to ensure successful and coordinated completion of project components, consult with stakeholders as needed and ensure readiness for project implementation
Ensures that program and project progress is tracked according to project plan and identified metrics. Monitor and report on the status of projects and major barriers encountered. In partnership with the clients leadership makes adjustments project and program scope and related changes required to facilitate a successful outcome. Supports the team to develop and maintain effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle
Participate in the development and monitoring of project budgets within the context of operations demands and environmental and resource constraints and use best practice methods to thoroughly monitor and adhere to allocated budgets
Provide leadership by giving advice or guidance in situations that require interpretation and judgment
Specific Qualifications or Experience Required:
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline
Must have 5+ years working in a Health Authority or similar environment.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills dealing with senior executive and clinicians
Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)
