The role and responsibilities

Construction Project Superintendent involve overseeing and managing the construction project from start to finish. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role:

• Project Planning: The Construction Project Superintendent is involved in the initial project planning phase. They work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand the project requirements, review construction documents, and develop a detailed construction plan.
• On-Site Supervision: The superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site activities. This includes overseeing the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
• Quality Control: The superintendent is responsible for maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process. They conduct regular inspections to ensure that work meets the specified quality requirements and adheres to industry standards and codes.

Must-haves

• 5 years plus experience in commercial construction.
• Great verbal and written communication, emails, etc.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Ability to multi-task, be flexible, and able to adapt in fast-paced, changing environments.
• Ability to cross functionally work with multiple teams and factory departments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
