Position’s Contributions to Work Group: Perform Software HIL bench tests using OPAL-RT. SupportLithium-Ion battery system performance and validation lab tests for a software release.
SupportLithium-Ion battery system testing, checking data quality, test result integrity, and repeatability. Dataanalysis across multiple Conformance, Performance and Validation test protocols.
Writerequirements, procedures, and reports and formally present on test outcomes.
Communicatetechnical information to internal and external customers, team members, and suppliers.
Typical Day:
Focused on battery management systems. Be present in the lab and office. Work with other control engineers in the group to understand test and simulation requirements. Will set up and conduct tests/simulations and present results to the group.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
Master's degree in Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical engineering preferred.
Technical Skills:
Required:
Proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, Plant model creation/calibration, HIL/SIL testing, OPAL-RT bench set up, Battery Management System software development, and performance validation
Soft Skills:
Highly organized engineering documentation - test plans, procedures, and test reports.
Significant team collaboration, Ability to perform testing on HIL benches, test cells, machines, etc
