POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervises all aspects of Maintenance for the equipment and facilities at the 800,000-square-foot Zanesville, Ohio Distribution Center. Responsible for direct supervision and development of approximately 10-12 Associates plus indirect oversight of 12-14 contract employees. Responsible for supporting safety and environmental compliance in assigned areas. Administers work order scheduling and control system and storeroom inventory management. Manages capital projects for Engineering and other units as requested. Manages inclement weather preparedness and response. Shares responsibility of budget for Engineering and for indirect sourcing contract management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Degree in Engineering, Industrial, or Electrical
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required in a technical discipline, and a BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Experience in project/process management, continuous process improvement, and quality control is highly desired
Minimum of 3 years of experience leading facilities maintenance team in a manufacturing, production, or distribution center environment
Experience in a computerized maintenance management system is preferred. Must have the ability to read electrical diagrams, and diagnose, troubleshoot, test, and repair mechanical and electronic devices. PLC programming skills preferred
Strong technical knowledge and expertise required: general plant maintenance, HVAC, preventative maintenance, facilities, and, mechanical maintenance
PC literate with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong presentation skills; interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Experience specifying, selecting, and purchasing parts and equipment to maintain production equipment
Occasional lifting up to 40lbs; frequent standing and walking; ability to work long hours and some weekends
