Knowledge of PLC Control level issue diagnosis and maintenance.
Operate mechanical tools and equipment as required to fabricate or repair industrial parts and equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment, hydraulics, or other mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform root cause analysis in partnership with operations to solve problems and make improvements.
Provide basic support for the start-up of new equipment to ensure it meets all mechanical design specifications.
Perform maintenance and repairs for industrial equipment; analyze technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
Perform predictive and preventative maintenance of conveyor systems and electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and provide technical support to engineers.
Performed all repairs for belts, roller conveyors, turntables, and paint sprayers.
There's a lot of testing to confirm pressure, pull, etc.
Will be using dimensional measurements with tensile and micrometers.
Tools used include tweezers, measuring microscopes, gadgets, and tensile (to measure the pull).
Familiarity with lab equipment, calibers, microscopes, rulers, and small hand tools is necessary.
Working in pairs with the lead tech to perform testing and document the data.
