This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the overall technology strategy and vision for an organization.
Individuals in this position work closely with executives and stakeholders to understand the business goals and objectives, and then translate those into a comprehensive plan for the organization's technology infrastructure and systems.
Individuals in this position are responsible for defining and maintaining the architecture frameworks and standards that guide the organization's technology decision-making, and for ensuring that all technology investments align with the overall strategy and vision.
This includes conducting evaluations of current systems and identifying opportunities for improvement, as well as researching and implementing new technologies and solutions.
The enterprise architect also plays a key role in relationships with external vendors and partners, and in providing advice and guidance during the negotiation of contracts and agreements for technology services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Standards: setting standards and best practices surrounding IT architecture. This position maintains a broad, deep understanding of numerous IT disciplines (e.g., IT Architecture, Cloud, Infrastructure, Identity Management, Network, Security, Applications, Solution Integration, IT Service Delivery, Information Architecture and Business Architecture).
Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges, and identifying IT solutions that address those needs effectively.
Architecture Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technology stack documentation, encompassing detailed information on software, hardware, frameworks, libraries, and dependencies, to ensure a clear understanding of the DWDs technological infrastructure.
Collaboration: Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to align technology investments with business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, engineers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with the organization's strategic objectives and enhance overall
