ETL Engineer

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Gather and document requirements and develop functional specifications with focus on ETL processes.
• Generate ETL mapping and Data Migration documents for a smooth project transfer from development to testing and production environments.
• Involve in ETL design, architecture, technology, and transition strategies for the enterprise data warehouse and data marts.
• Design and create logical/physical data models based on requirements.
• Develop ETL process with regard to design, development, testing and migration to production environments.
• Write and execute ETL test scripts to extract data from sources including XML, XML Target, and Excel.
• Transform data and load into multiple targets like SQL to create flat files.
• Create high-level documents and low-level documents as per business requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve high-priority tickets as per the SLAs.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Master’s degree in Comp Sci, Engg, IT or related with at least 6 months of experience.
