ETL Tester

Job Title: ETL Tester
Location : Virginia/ Plano-TX (Hybrid)
Experience: 8+ years
"Open for W2 and C2C"

-5 – 6 years of experience in ETL testing is required.
-MDM or IDQ experience is highly preferred.
-Day to day: Create test cases, execute test cases, data validation. Knowledge of the Informatica landscape is highly preferred. Currently migrating from on-prem MDM to cloud. Redo test cases for cloud migration and then do End to End testing for the product. Testing is manual. The focus is on manual testing for the migration and then automation post migration.
-Selenium experience is nice to have.
-Cloud experience is nice to have.
-Reporting tools experience is nice to have.
-Candidate must have ETL experience, experience with SQL server and querying in SQL.

Requirements:
-Can understand business requirements.
-Write and execute test cases manually or using automation.
-Analyze results of tests, defects tracking and management, report status and recommendations for modifications to test plan and/or schedule.
Familiar with agile methodology.
-Supporting systems integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
-Creating and documenting test strategies/plans and test cases/scripts.
-Familiarity with Informatica IDQ and MDM tool functionalities.
Proficient in SQL.
-Thorough understanding of ETL processes.
-Experienced in presenting test results and other testing artifacts to stakeholders.
Experience with:
All phases of testing: System testing, system Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Hewlett Packard’s ALM (Quality Center) version 11.0 testing tools
Microsoft Visio
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
