Description

Required Skillsets:

  • At least 1 full year of professional software development experience
  • React using Typescript
  • API development


Nice To Have Skillsets:

  • NestJS, Jest
  • Node.js (web server-side experience)
  • AWS


In this role:

  • Design, develop and test feature initiatives based on technical requirements provided by analysts and product teams
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software
  • Develops technical documentation to guide future software development projects
  • Coordinates with product team members to define application requirements
  • Opportunity to identify business needs, assess available technologies, and develop/present solutions
  • Exposure to design system architectures
     

What you need to succeed:

  • We don’t expect you to have all the qualifications below, but we would like you to have experience in several of the areas:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years of experience
  • Professional experience with general applications development processes
  • Professional experience with full-stack development; React using Typescript and Node.js experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud hosted providers, specifically AWS
  • Ability to leverage technology background and understanding of latest technologies to apply to development work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent team player and business relationship skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences (both as a speaker and listener)
