What You Will Do

As a Joule Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in delivering SAP’s vision and future by working on building a platform that provides natural language processing capabilities and integrates seamlessly with other SAP products, to enable the one unified digital assistant for SAP powered by LLMs. 
Coding and Debugging: Write clean, efficient, well-documented code, and actively participate in debugging and troubleshooting activities. 
Software Development Lifecycle: Contribute to software solutions' development, testing, and deployment under the guidance and mentorship of experienced agile engineers. 
Own your deliverable: Involvement in all agile phases to bring life to your code including testing.

What You Bring

Solid Frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Experience with SAPUI5 or UI5 Web Component is a plus. 
Test automation experience with a framework such as Playwright. 
Programming skills in JAVA and solid knowledge of OOP concepts is a plus. 
Understanding of REST APIs, and API test and test automation. 
Experience with version control, such as Git. 
Working knowledge of software design, software architecture and agile software development. 
Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and principles of OO design 
Experience with dev-ops tools is a plus (CI, pipeline management with Jenkins, containers). 
Familiar with the SCRUM methodology and able to act as a SCRUM Master if required. 
Strong problem-solving skills. 
Self-motivated and able to adapt to new tasks.

Education And Experience

A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software Engineering (or related field), and a minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
