Role Description:
Encardio is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer for our operations. While primarily remote and project/ site specific, this position will require regular travel to engage with clients and project sites. We are looking for a candidate with a technical background in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or construction, ideally with experience in Instrumentation and monitoring (I&M). The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset for business development, coupled with the prowess of a seasoned salesperson.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Onsite Installation of various sensors on Project Sites.
- Problem Solve and find site solutions
- Interact with the operations team in project opportunities
- Interact with the marketing and communications teams
- Prepare and present technical presentations to clients, showcasing Encardio's capabilities and project successes.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and seeking opportunities for additional business.
- Travel regularly to client sites, conferences, and industry events for networking and business expansion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, sales, or a related field.
- Understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and I&M practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Ability to install sensors and work with data management software
