GIS Techno Functional Manager

Job Description:

Technical solution and design for GIS related new requirements and enhancements in the assigned engagement.
and suggest optimum solution for application development and enhancements in .Net technology.
and prioritize product features based on customer priorities.
the role of Solution architect for RFPs and Tenders in GIS and .Net technologies.
Management
both project and support streams as per contractual KPIs and SLAs.
and implement continuous improvement through automation for enhancing the delivery efficiency.
Weekly and monthly governance meetings with customer stakeholders to show case the team’s progress.
with internal practice teams to discuss and provide robust solutions for customer requirements.
Management
a team of 6-7 .Net developers and 1-2 GIS consultants to deliver the projects in .Net and GIS technologies.
quarterly/half-yearly/yearly performance appraisal of team members and provide feedback on their achievements and areas of improvement.
the capability for GIS and .Net by cross skilling resources and hiring critical roles.
and train college graduates in GIS and .Net technologies. Create a robust training plan.
 

Experience:

least 15+ years progressive experience in IT application development, enhancement and maintenance.
least 10+ years progressive experience with exposure to Solutioning, Designing, Developing and supporting Esri GIS applications.
in ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop.
least 6+ years’ experience in ASP.Net development and support.
as solution architect for RFPs and tenders involving GIS and .Net technologies.
in managing a team of technical consultants (5-10) across .Net and GIS technologies for both application development and support engagements.
in conducting multiple level of governance meetings with client stakeholders, vis a vis, weekly operational meetings with client service/project managers, Monthly/quarterly business reviews with Director and Sr.Directors of client.
in working in Cloud environment (preferably Azure) and handled application hosting/migration to cloud environment.
of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies and at least 6 years’ experience in one of them.
