Global Procurement-Software Sourcing Specialist

Job Description-

Job Profile Summary
• Supports and assists in the execution of the category plan for Software & Cloud Services
• Runs regional/program/project RFx and supports team as needed
• Supports both regional and global procurement/category management functions

Key Responsibilities
Negotiations:
• Manages procurement transactions for software and/or cloud services including contract renewals, growth and new technologies/services
• Supports procurement team in developing negotiation plans
• Leads vendor negotiations including business terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Negotiates tactical savings at project or program level
• Supports and executes competitive bid events and RFx distribution/management
• Collaborates with departments to finalize and validate business requirements

Category Strategy:
• Develops and/or executes supply chain strategies for specified business needs which support project, program or category goals
• Manages and/or supports the procurement of software and/or cloud services across the organization to meet business demands
• Performs category analysis and identifies new vendor opportunities in support of category objectives
• Supports new vendor management processes for top strategic suppliers

Cost Savings:
• Proactively identifies, implements and project manages cost reduction, risk and service quality improvement in support of objectives
• Track and monitor savings and develop reports as needed
• Validates Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for product lines, procured goods and services across the departments supported and identifies opportunities for further improvement

Supplier Management:
• Works with business and procurement team to assess short-term and long-term supplier strategy at the global and/or regional level
• Analyzes vendor performance to ensure it is consistent with value required for a given commodity or service
• Supports creation of purchase requisitions / purchase orders
• Acts as point of project delivery escalation
• Facilitates project or regional/program RFx for agreed products, goods or services

Contract Management:
• Partners with Legal on the contract lifecycle
• Negotiates with vendor in support of contract development and execution
• Responsible for all relevant documentation execution including contract signatures
• Initiates and manages procurement transaction in the contract and/or Source-to-Pay systems

Qualifications -

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Demonstrated experience in global procurement of Software and/or Cloud Services
• Solid understanding of strategic sourcing methodology and procurement best practices
• Strong financial acumen
