As a contractor to one of our enterprise clients, the biggest search engine in the world, you will
support the Corporate IT hardware fleet within the global data centers, server rooms, labs, and distributed office locations. The fleet is made up of various commercial equipment including various components, software licenses, and support contracts.
A. Manage all logistics requests via internal ticket system
- Create new Inbound/Outbound requests
- Resolve issues with tickets
- Manage import and export requirements for given product
- Submit product lifecycle management change requests
- Maintain the hardware catalog
- Maintain the global repair and spare parts inventory (onsite and warehouse)
- Assist in maintaining the inventory project codes (create, clear, de com)
- Create, maintain, and run reports of inventory.
- Manage part number/inventory stock audits
B. Manage all Procurement requests via a ticket system
- Manage Internal Google parts processes
- Manage Part Number creation and modification
- Create, maintain, and run reports on capital expense/operating expenses, purchasing, SAP, pivt, Oracle, and internal tools
- Provide timely and accurate purchase order ETAs
- Track Purchase order at suppliers and follow up weekly to confirm commit
- Expedite shortages with suppliers
- Track down approvals and stalls in Purchase Order generation
- Maintain Purchase Order tracker spreadsheet or other tools/spreadsheets
C. Manage Logistics from purchase order to inventory Manage and RMAs (Material Return Processes)
D. Document necessary information in tickets and other documents/spreadsheets as associated with the services being provided.
E. Complete training as it pertains to the work and/or relevant tools or processes used for the work upon request by Google.
