Position Overview
As an Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and manipulating large datasets within our ICM platform. Your insights and data-driven recommendations will be essential in helping our organization make informed decisions related to incentive compensation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Analyze and interpret compensation data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present compensation-related insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and HR, to gather requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Validate incentive calculations and ensure accuracy and compliance with compensation plans.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and respond to data-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies to optimize compensation processes and drive performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in compensation data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the context of incentive compensation management or a related field.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Informatica ETL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with incentive compensation plans, metrics, and calculations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with database management and data warehousing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
