• Develop and configure applications using Ignition, Canary and Kepware to meet specific project requirements. These applications will function in an enterprise environment and will have a high degree of integration with other enterprise IT systems, such as SQL databases, web services (e.g. REST API), Active Directory, identity servers, etc. in addition to traditional OT/SCADA components such as OPC servers, automation equipment and HMIs. The ideal candidate will possess an active Ignition Gold Certification issued by Inductive Automation.
• Design software solution components that are modular, easily scalable and adaptable to multiple use cases.
• Develop and document standards and best practices to support effective collaboration in a team environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, IT, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Support implementation and scaling of OT systems, including Ignition, Canary, Kepware, by assisting with the installation and configuration of hardware and software components.
• Ensure that solutions are secure, reliable, and meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Develop documentation for solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.
• Support emerging OT initiatives, including identifying new opportunities for OT applications, designing and implementing OT systems, and ensuring that new OT solutions are integrated with existing systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other teams, including IT, engineering, and operations.
