Infrastructure Architect / VMWARE Engineer  – Bristol, Lincoln, Hampshire or Wiltshire – DV Cleared - £600 - £800 per day

Full time on one of the sites above

Candidates must hold a DV Clearance

We are looking for people to have a focus on VMWARE and ideally some VCF  (V-Cloud / VMware cloud foundation) depending on the location..

Bristol

A good knowledge and experience of implementing VMware Cloud Foundation 4.x (preferably within a VxRail deployment)
Or:
A good knowledge and experience of VMware vRealize Suite (8.x) deployment and configuration (preferably within a VCF deployment)

Ideally they’d have experience in both to allow for flexibility on what parts of the project they could work on.

VMware Site Recovery Manager

Lincoln

• Good understanding and experience of technical governance, risk and mitigation across multiple disciplines e.g. Microsoft, Unix, and Cisco
• Good understanding and experience in design and implementation of virtualised solutions including VMWare and Hyper V.
• Good understanding and experience in design and implementation of Cisco networking and firewall setup and configuration.
• Good understanding and experience in design and implementation of remote / virtual desktop environments and implementation e.g. MS RDP, and Citrix.

Hampshire

• Good working knowledge of VMware (inc. using the latest application virtualisation products), familiar with using both historic and current Windows (Desktop and Server) and Linux systems (e.g.RHEL). Ability to create and troubleshoot these systems including Group Policy, Registry manipulation and setting and managing permissions and auditing.
  Working knowledge of using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Wiltshire

In-depth knowledge of VMWare Cloud Foundation and being able to size target environments based on requirements captured by the assessment team. Must be senior infrastructure engineer or design/architect.
