IT Application Senior Developer

1.        To provide support for RSME project and assist in other BAU support if required.

2.        To thoroughly understand the system design and provide impact analysis feedback for any potential system change including design of End-of-day process.

3.        To perform problem investigation – problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development and implementation.

4.        Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

5.        Responsible in providing solutions to cater for enhancement or new requirement from users.

6.        To proactively manage system risks by defining improvements or mitigations.

7.        Coordinating system implementation and troubleshooting of system issues in UAT.

8.        Provide input to application/infrastructure scalability.

9.        Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing

10.    Provide input to administering and maintaining all application environments

11.    Provide input to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans

12.    Act as a technical resource for internal and external projects

13.    Follow appropriate departmental and bank procedures and policies (i.e. change control, security and auditing, release, configuration, problem and incident management).

14.    Maintain good working relationships with internal departments as well as 3rd party vendors and hosting providers

Technical Skills & Experiences

1.         Bachelor’s Degree in computer science / Information Technology, in any related fields.

2.         Minimum 5+ years’ experience in application development / Programming, software design, systems support and application database management

3.         Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures

4.         Experience with supporting multiple integrations system (batch & online)

5.         Possess strong technical knowledge in

§   Linux

§   IBM DB2

§   SQL

§   PHP (Previous programming experience would be an added advantage)

§   Shell scripting

§   Javascript

§   Web application

§   SOAP, REST, XML integration
