Overview The IT Business Enablement & Data Management Head is a senior leadership role responsible for providing direction and making critical decisions that represent IT stakeholders. This role ensures the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives, focusing on Core Banking Systems, E-Channel, Enterprise Systems, and Data Management.


 

Job description:

• Develop, monitor, and enhance IT applications to meet the organization’s needs, ensuring efficiency and scalability

• Establish clear guidelines, policies, procedures, and accountability frameworks for IT initiatives.

• Build and maintain effective, timely relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT projects with business goals.

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, identifying their needs and proposing effective solutions to achieve strategic objectives.

• Ensure IT initiatives comply with industry standards, risk management protocols, and enterprise architecture principles.

• Manage risks associated with IT strategies, maintaining alignment with the bank's objectives.

• Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

• Provide guidance in technical areas, project management, and decision-making to enhance team performance.

• Oversee Core Banking Systems, E-Channel Systems, and Enterprise Data Management, ensuring robust and reliable operations.

• Drive improvements in IT Service Continuity, system performance, and database management to support organizational efficiency

• Manage large-scale IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving to resolve project challenges and optimize outcomes.


 

Job Qualification:

• Highly experienced professional with a strong background in IT and leadership, specifically within the financial or banking sectors

• A bachelor’s degree in Informatics or a related Engineering discipline, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical knowledge.

• 10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on the financial or banking industry

• 5+ years of leadership experience, successfully managing and guiding teams in complex IT environments.

• In-depth knowledge of IT Banking Operations and Core Banking Systems.

• Proficiency in Programming and Application Development using both core and enterprise-level language

• Expertise in System and Database Management, ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Familiarity with Risk Management and IT Service Continuity to mitigate risks effectively. Key Skills: • Strong Project Management skills to oversee large-scale IT initiatives.

• Analytical and critical thinking abilities, with excellent Problem-Solving skills.

• Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture to align IT systems with strategic business goal

• Outstanding interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

• Leadership and decision-making capabilities to guide teams and ensure successful project delivery
