Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing all of the IT distribution center (DC) Analysts and coordinating their activities across all of the Tractor Supply Company DCs. This roll will oversee the technical and functional support to the distribution center user of hardware, software for RF devices, desktop PC’s, servers, local printers, local area networks, and remote users. The individual will work with the IT DC Analysts to standardize procedures and develop consistent processes across all of the TSC distribution centers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Minimum of 5% of time spent)
- Manage, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day work of the DC IT Analysts; coordinate IT activities across all of the TSC distribution centers.
- Oversee the administration of all aspects of the DC network and maintenance, including configuring laptop and desktop PC’s, loading software on PC’s and servers, configuring and monitoring system backups, physically installing network switches, hubs, printers, etc.
- Lead initiative to standardize IT procedures and develop new IT processes to ensure consistency between all of the distribution centers; oversee the creation and maintenance of standard functional documentation for all DC-related system processes; lead the design and testing of new processes across distribution centers.
- Coordinate efforts with the IT Logistics team to manage DC applications such as WMS.
- Oversee the coordination of end user support and training requirements for all systems installed at the TSC distribution centers.
- Serve as a temporary backfill for the IT DC Analysts during periods of absence (i.e. vacation time, sick days, etc.). Assume the role and responsibilities of the IT DC Analysts for the specific distribution center until the person returns.
- Act as a liaison and point of contact between the distribution centers and other areas of IT, including IT Logistics and Tier I Support.

- Possess knowledge of Logistics/DC systems.
- Understand project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, and software development lifecycle methodologies as adopted by the organization; apply good project management skills.
- Work effectively with a distributed team, across time-zones with minimal supervision.
- Communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Demonstrate strong skills in MS Office Suite to accomplish required tasks.
- Exhibit experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Working Conditions
- Normal office conditions.
- Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Some travel may be required for the purpose of off-site software/hardware support and system applications management
