PRIMARY PURPOSE: To lead the systems analysts team and ensure that standards are met for the business/systems analysis efforts for implementations and large, multi-line projects; the review, analyze and document process improvements in the department; to provide mentorship and leadership within the business/systems analysis team; to ensure alignment of the Systems Analysts team goals to strategic business/systems and IT goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads team in efforts to ensure that standards are met with gathering or managing the requirements management efforts for large projects; devises and executes a requirements management plan for assigned projects or programs; and takes ownership of the role and responsibilities of the systems analysts. Has in-depth knowledge and understanding of stakeholders; initiates and facilitates meetings and discussions with systems analysts team, IT teams, as well as stakeholders in the project(s) Works with systems analysts team, project managers, project requestors, operations, business/systems representatives, IT representatives and clients to ensure complete understanding of software requirements; reviews software requirements work of other team members to ensure alignment to requirements management governances as well as strategic business/systems and IT goals; and assists in development of governances for the requirements management discipline. Produces standards and processes for requirements documentation, including written documents, process diagrams, report mock-ups, wire frames and other documentation as required. Assists in business partner, marketing/sales presentations and new business system demonstrations. Meets deadlines and manages work to timelines. Provides business/systems-related IT knowledge to clients and business/systems representatives during the requirements management process. Mentors team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred. Degree in Computer Sciences preferred. Experience Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements strongly preferred.
