**This position requires onsite 3 days a week with 2 remote
**Client is looking for a much more senior resource
**Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through Client’s Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking
Complete Description:
The Client has an opportunity for an IT Transformation Architect in our Information Technology Division.
This position is located in Richmond, VA.
In this position, the individual will be responsible for enabling IT transformation strategy and processes in support of enterprise level change management activities.
Position specific responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Support and lead the creation of enterprise strategy and technology strategy documentation aimed at executive level audiences. Serve as credible advisor to organization leaders including business and IT leadership and managers.
• Enable development of end-to-end IT transformation projects across multiple business capabilities to include affected people, purpose, and processes.
• Coordinate and facilitate complex, cross functional senior management discussions on business strategy, design blueprints, and operating model alignment.
• Seize opportunities created by emerging technologies to facilitate innovations in business solution modeling.
• Identify and present solutions for complex business problems that require ingenuity and creativity.
• Support and lead the creation of organization specific frameworks and methodologies based on industry standards such as COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, and industry research such as Gartner, etc.
• Define / identify / display success metrics around alignment of strategic solutions and expected benefits to finance strategy and capabilities in the target state.
• Support and lead the creation of visual representations and summarization of complex information such as processes, data, metrics, and financials, etc.
• Produce and maintain reusable strategic documentation, as well as, architecture artifacts including views, diagrams, matrixes, etc.
leveraging various standard applications and automated tools.
Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience working with senior management level audiences.
• 5+ years of experience working with executive level audiences.
• Knowledge of enterprise frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF, Zachman, etc. and practical experience with their adoption
• Ability to understand organizational dynamics between multiple different stakeholders and a strong ability to devise strategies for accomplishing goals under complex circumstances and dynamics
• Superior writing and documentations skills in various formats and tools with impeccable quality
• Strong ability to distill data and other complex information for story-telling to senior audiences
• PowerBI experience is highly desired.
• Deep technical understanding in any area, such as development, solution architecture, security, infrastructure, integrations, cloud, and data etc., is a strong plus.
• Ability and willingness to work on customer site approximately 2 to 3 days a week
• Extensive experience building PowerBI dashboards to share metrics related to transformation engagements and process implementations or improvements
• Ability to conduct visioning sessions with senior leaders to create consensus around a common path forward
• Ability to share insights based on complex customer engagements based on industry best practices with audience at varying levels within the agency
• Knowledge of and experience in Enterprise and/or Transformation architecture best practices
• Experience leading in person and virtual collaborations with peers and senior leaders
• Willingness to actively engage in collaborations, transparently share progress, and adapt to evolving guidance
• Demonstrate distinctive written and oral communication skills, stakeholder management, and change management skills
