JAVA /CAP

Overview

The Java/CAP position plays a crucial role in our organization by developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java and Cloud Application Platforms (CAP) to drive the innovation and improvement of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications in the Cloud Application Platform (CAP) environment.
Design and implement scalable and secure solutions using the Spring Framework.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and integrate Microservices.
Build and maintain RESTful API endpoints for seamless communication between different system components.
Manage and optimize database operations and data storage within the application.
Contribute to agile development processes and deliver high-quality code within the specified timelines.
Identify and troubleshoot software defects and operational issues to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
Document software designs, application features, and technical specifications.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Java development and Cloud Application Platforms.
Proficiency in the Spring Framework for building enterprise-scale applications.
Experience with Cloud technologies and their deployment in production environments.
Expertise in developing and deploying Microservices-based architectures.
In-depth knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
Strong understanding of database management and SQL query optimization.
Experience working in an Agile development environment, following Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team setting.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
Certifications in Java and Cloud technologies are advantageous.
